MARSDEN WOO GALLERY ARTISTS FEATURE IN 'EUROPE AND BEYOND' AT THE COACH HOUSE GALLERY, DUBLIN

A quick reminder to our readers based in Ireland that Saturday 27 September is the last day to see 'Europe and Beyond', an exciting exhibition bringing together a host of international ceramic sculptors at the new Coach House Gallery at Dublin Castle, in the heart of Dublin City. 

Marsden Woo Gallery artists Gordon Baldwin and Ken Eastman and Marsden Woo Gallery associated artist Babs Haenen feature as part of the twelve world-class artists who specialise in clay.

GORDON BALDWIN AND ALISON BRITTON SHOWING AT 'VASE, VESSEL, VOID' AT OLIVER SEARS GALLERY, DUBLIN

We at Marsden Woo Gallery are thrilled that two of our artists - Gordon Baldwin and Alison Britton - are showing work at Vase, Vessel, Void, a group exhibition curated by Brian Kennedy at the Oliver Sears Gallery in Dublin. The curation is a response to works that Oliver Sears has either collected or been interested in during the last twenty years.

INAUGURAL SHOW AT OUR NEW PREMISES: ALISON BRITTON & JIM PARTRIDGE, 'CUT AND RUN' 15 OCTOBER - 15 NOVEMBER 2014

The inaugural show at our new premises on Charlotte Road will be 'Cut and Run', featuring work by Alison Britton and Jim Partridge. 

This highly-anticipated joint exhibition will bring together a new series of Britton's tall pots, with loosely poured slip and brush work over buff clay bodies, and Jim Partridge's newest vessels and studio furniture featuring irregular planes and scorched and bleached carved wood.

MARSDEN WOO GALLERY IS MOVING!

We are delighted to announce that we are re-locating and will be sharing our new premises with Studio Tord Boontje in the heart of Shoreditch.

The inaugural show in our exciting new space will be Alison Britton and Jim Partridge, 'Cut and Run', running from 15 October - 15 November. 

Please note that our opening hours will be Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 - 18:00.

MARSDEN WOO GALLERY ARTIST JAMES RIGLER WINS EUROPEAN CERAMIC CONTEXT NEW TALENT AWARD!

Many congratulations to Marsden Woo Gallery artist James Rigler, who has won the European Ceramic Context New Talent Award! See below for images of 'Ancestor I & II', his winning work. For more information about this sensational news please click here.

The exhibition is currently taking place in Bornholm, Denmark, but for London-based readers, a new installation by James can be seen in the Cast Courts of the V&A until the 21 September. Please see our previous blog post.

MARSDEN WOO GALLERY ARTISTS NAO MATSUNAGA AND JAMES RIGLER SHOW LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL DISPLAYS AT THE V&A

Marsden Woo Gallery artists Nao Matsunaga and James Rigler are showing work at the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of London Design Festival. To coincide with both artists' ceramic residencies at the V&A, they were invited to exhibit a new piece of work inspired by the museum's vast collection.

As Nao is the current ceramic artist in residence, there will be opportunities to meet him at his studio space in the museum on 17, 19 & 20 September from 1pm - 4pm to see works in progress, as well as visit his fantastic new piece 'Live Up/Blank Totem'.

James's wonderful installation 'Military Secret' in the Cast Courts is showing until 21 September, and he will be giving gallery talks on 17 & 19 September if you would like to discover more about his display inside Trajan's Column.
