UPCOMING SHOW: JAMES RIGLER, 'LYONESSE' 9 SEPTEMBER - 10 OCTOBER 2015
Taking the mythical lost land of Lyonesse as his starting point, this latest exciting body of work sees Marsden Woo Gallery artist James Rigler consider modernist architecture, reliquaries and IKEA flat packs.
Walking the line between the everyday and the extraordinary, his new pieces attempt to re-imagine the idea of lost or precious places through contemporary concerns with city-building and mass-produced objects.
The exhibition will run from 9 September - 10 October, for more information please see the press section of our website: http://www.marsdenwoo.com/press-next.htm
Rigler is also featured in the Inspiration section of this month's issue of CRAFTS magazine, speaking to Teleri Lloyd-Jones about his process, influences and upcoming show at Marsden Woo Gallery. http://www.craftscouncil.org.uk/magazine/issues/
