'SITTING AND LOOKING' AT SOMERSET HOUSE
The exhibition 'Sitting and Looking', curated by Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley, is currently on display at Somerset House. The show brings together ten well-know artists displaying an unusual juxtaposition of 21st century objects including furniture, fine art photography, ceramics, jewellery, painting and textiles, some of which will be for sale, and explores the links between each art form. One of these artists is Gordon Baldwin, who is also currently showing here at Marsden Woo. Partridge and Walmsley seating is interspersed throughout the show to offer visitors places in which to sit and to look. The show continues to 4 September 2011.
